Adult Lunchable for Weight Loss
If you are trying to lose weight, but want to actually enjoy what you’re eating on a daily basis - you need to add this Adult Lunchable to the rotation. It is packed with protein, is filled with a variety of foods and textures, and yes — even dessert is included!
I have coined this the adult version of the 90’s Lunchables many of us grew up on. It’s fun, satisfying, and will help you stay on track to lose weight without compromising enjoyment of food!
Here’s the full breakdown of what’s inside:
Cucumbers (or your fav sliced veggie!)
2T hummus
2 Boiled eggs
1 oz sharp cheddar cheese (if dairy free, swap out for some nuts like cashews or almonds)
1/4c Grapes
1 svg almond flour sea salt crackers (these Simple Mills brand crackers are my absolute favorite in taste and texture!)
2 oz sliced turkey
1 large square of extra dark chocolate (Thrive Market’s 72% cacao is what I have here!)
Directions and some notes about the “Lunchable”:
Prep and add ingredients in to a container that you can easily pack away in the fridge or take to work. Grab it when you’re ready for a healthy and delicious lunch!
I like to make 2-3 of these ahead of time and eat them throughout the week.
My kids also love a smaller version of this packed for their lunches!
And did I mention? This Adult Lunchable has over 30g of protein! The name of the game here is high protein and variety of fruits, veggies, colors and healthy fats.
